ARM Credit Rating process is part of its strong Corporate Governance Charter.The Company's objective in getting credit rated was to provide its Board, Management, Investors, Financial Institutions, Shareholders and other stakeholders with an independent report on the financial health of the Company.
ARM was amongst the first publically listed companies in Kenya to get Credit rated in the year 2001 and has for the last eight years got the credit rating validated on an annual basis.
The Credit Rating Agency is Global Credit Ratings South Africa. Global Credit Rating was the first and till date continues to be the only credit rating agency to be accredited by the Capital Markets Authority.

ARM Global Credit Rating as at 2008 is A1 for Short Term and A for Long Term.
SHORT TERM A1: Highest certainty of timely payments liquidity factors are excellent and supported by good fundamental protection factors. Risk factors are minor.
LONG TERM A: Good investment Grade, indicating high credit quality, good protection factors, risk factors are small and variable due to economic cycles.
