The foundation of ARM was based on Mining and processing of Dolomitic limestone for use as agriculture Lime. Over the years other industrial minerals such as Magnesite, Gypsum, Feldspar, Mica, Barytes , Quartz and Bentonite were added to this division.

These are minerals processed into value added materials for use in products such as paint, footwear, glass ceramics detergents foam mattresses PVC pipes, printing inks and other industries.

ARM is a market leader in this segment in the East African Region. This has a capacity of 80,000 tonnes per year and exports to over 12 countries in Africa.

The Industrial division closely works with its customers to develop new and improved products and has recently commissioned an Ultra Fine mineral processing plant to cater for new markets in the food and cosmetics industries
